Citizen complaints are given high priority resulting in prompt response and resolution. The Commission regularly responds to over 300 complaints annually and issues violations of NJ air pollution regulations when necessary.

The Commission also requires that owners of sources of air contaminants obtain a Certificate of Registration which is valid for a period of five years. The Registration system allows HRHC to store and process information on substances emitted throughout the County.
